Your coroner may also order an autopsy, which examines the internal parts of the body, and is performed by a board certified pathologist.

The coroner must respect the deceased body, and emotions of the family. The coroner must perform his/her duties with a sense of dignity appropriate for the circumstances. The coroner must have compassion for the grieving of the survivors.
